OUR TRAVEL PLANS (Future & Past)

What does the Future have in store YOU??

We are getting so many requests from our clients to branch out & do different things and visit unusual places. They want to go on European cruises, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Transatlantic cruises, Alaskan cruises, Bermuda & Caribbean cruises, New Orleans, All-inclusive resorts, honeymoons, Las Vegas, New York, Paris along with several other unique destinations including river cruises. I am thinking of adding 'escorted tours' to our services and accompany groups to their destinations after I retire. Everyone seems to like to deal with travel agents that have first-hand knowledge and experience and can guide them through the process. It is their vacation & they want someone to have experienced the places & suggest what & where they should go.

WHAT WE ARE PLANNING ON DOING:

2018:
One of our most popular requsts has been Australia, Asia & Vietnam, & Japan. We have several pending cruises, that might turn into group cruises.

11-day Southeast Asia from Singapore to Hong Kong, stopping in Ko Samui, Bangkok (Thailand); Ho Chi Minh City, Hue/Da Nang and Hanoi (Vietnam), and stops in Hong Kong.

11-day China, Korea & Japan from Hong Kong, stopping in Xiamen, Shanghai, Beijing (China); Inchon (South Korea, Kobe (Japan), and then stopping in Toyko. Planning on staying another day after the cruise at Disneyland Tokyo & Disney Seas before flying home.

We are also getting several requests for a group cruise to Alaska after Norwegian announced their new ship, Bliss, on the group cruise we took in October 2016. The Bliss is the new ship that will start cruising Alaska in June, 2018. This is the first new/large ship that is sailing in Alaska. Itineraries will be posted in January 2017, and I plan on creating two group cruises, 1 in beginning of season, 1 right before school goes back for our clients with children in school.

2017:
Transatlantic cruises have also been popular and I am getting numerous requests for them too.  We have never been on a transatlantic cruise before, but have several clients that want information on going & 2 that want to join this cruise. Clients need to hurry as they are popular because they are less expensive than most cruises and some of the categories are already sold out.  This back-to-back cruise is on the Norwegian Getaway, which is a beautiful, new sister ship to the Escape & Breakaway.

16-day Transatlantic cruise on the Norwegian Getaway from Miami, with stops in Ponta Delgada (Azores), Brest (France), Southampton (London), Brussels/Bruges (Zeebrugge) Belgium, Rotterdam (Netherlands), and then Copenhagen.

Then, a
9-day Baltic Capitals sailing R/T Copenhagen. Ports: Berlin, Germany, Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helskini (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), and then back to Copenhagen.

Planning on staying an extra day at Copenhagen to visit the amazing Tivoli Garden. Had several inquiries about that place also.

September 25, 2017 -- Our 40 year anniversary. Need to do something special just for us!  Haven't figured that out either but I am sure it will be something special with my Sweetheart, Augie!!

Royal Caribbean cruise - Harmony of the Seas out of Ft Lauderdale - 7 days.  This is the sister of the Oasis of the Seas. This is a new ship & we have several clients waiting to go on this one. We have two other rooms booked, and expecting a few more. Could NOT do a group cruise on this as it is very popular and they would not

Harmony of the Seas

2016:
Cancelled-- Possible reschedule in future...
Spring - 14 day FAM trip to China & the Yangtze River cruise.  Visiting Shanghai, Wuhan, Yichang, Three Gorges, Three Lesser Gorges or Shennong Stream, Fengdu, Chongquing,l Chengdu, Xian, Beijing.
China FAM trip & Yangtze River. 14 days

Norwegian Getaway - 7 day Miami to Miami with stops at Roatan, Honduras, Costa Maya, Belize, Cozumel. This was a FAM trip with an amazing price that make it easier to forget I missed our China trip. Maybe next time. z

Walt Disney World (WDW) and staying at our timeshare, Animal Kingdom. Have a gorgeous Savannah view that overlooks the animals from our balcony.  WDW is a very popular vacation spot & we get numerous booking requests.
Check it out

GROUP Cruise - October 2016 - #A380005

Norwegian ESCAPE - new ship sailing out of Miami.  ESCAPE with US! This is our 2nd group cruise and have
18 cabins & counting.  Why don't you join us, there is still plenty of room to join our group.

Escape with us

2015:
Norwegian Cruise (FAM)- 7 day Hawaiian vacation on the refurbished "Pride of America" . Staying at the Waikiki Beach Hotel before the cruise, and at the Outrigger on the Beach for 3 days after the cruise!!! Aloha!!!

Manhattan Club - NYC in summer. Got tickets to see Tony Bennett with Lady Gaga at the Radio City Music Hall. Happy Birthday Augie!

Also got tickets to see Chicago. Then, a trip to NJ to visit with family & friends. When we got there, we also went to see "On the Town".  We had an amazing time & then we flew directly to:

Disneyland's 60th Diamond Julilee - Staying at the Disneyland Hotel for 4 days.  Never stayed at a Disney hotel before, so I am sure we are going to enjoy it. Lots of new stuff at Disneyland, so we will be trying to take everything in. Again, a lot of requests to go to Disneyland for this & Mickey's Halloween & Christmas parties.

Entered a contest to sail on the Inaugural voyage of Norwegian's Escape! Darn, I didn't win!!
Disneyland 60th Diamond Julilee

Royal Caribbean - OASIS of the SEAS - October 2015. Sailing with Jenny, Tracy & family out of Fort Lauderdale.

We have a balcony overlooking "Boardwalk". It was the MOST unbelievable ship ever..  5200 people, featuring 7 neighborhoods. The ship is amazing. 1st time we sailed on a Royal Caribbean ship & it will NOT be the last!!! Booked a trip while we were on-board on their newest sister ship, Harmony of the Seas. This time we are overlooking the outdoor water show, directly overlooking the Boardwalk.. It is such an amazing location.. Cannot wait to go again. Same itinerary.. maybe I will do the bobsled AGAIN!!! Who knows. I will definitely do another zip line, maybe at Ladadee.
Oasis of the Seas

2014:

A 1-day Travel agent Inaugural cruise, invitation only, on the maiden voyage of the Getaway

PITBULL was the entertainment

     Brooke Burke was the MC
What a fabulous day.

We spent the night at the JWMarriott in Miami (gorgeous) but really expensive (that's what happens when you book at the last minute -- hotels booked)

The we disembarked the cruise, went to JW Marriott to get our luggage, and then went back on for a  7-day inaugural cruise on the Norwegian Getaway. I definitely cannot say enough wonderful things about that ship & our trip. Tried out everything to get ready for our 1st group cruise in October. Specialty dining was amazing. I loved dining at Ocean Blue & would recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing 5-star dining experience at a reduced price, especially if they are celebrating a special occassion. We sat on the waterfront & had the most amazing diner ever! First time I ever ate at a 5-star Iron Chef restaurant & believe me, it was worth the price.

A 3-day ADVENTURES by DISNEY to New York City in June, Staying at the Manhattan Club in downtown NYC. The play, Aladdin. Had not been back to New York since we moved in 1991. We have been having a lot of requests from clients to go to NYC, and this will help us get familiar with the city again! Everything was all-inclusive except basic price and transportation to/from NYC. Excellent experience - Disney knew right where to take us, and I can recommend these places and restaurants to future clients who want to really enjoy NYC.

A 7-day visit to Disneyland. Stayed at Peacock Inn. 7 day hopper to California adventure & Disneyland. DVC Member breakfast. Nice place, visited several other hotels to see what they had to offer. Unfortunately, I fell and fractured my arm, and had to cut my trip short but things happen! I will try again next year! Trip was a wash as Disney & hotel cancels reservation because of my untimely fall.

Red Wolf - Tahoe/Lake Vista
Not very thrilled with the timeshare. Only recommend to skiers or in the middle of the summer where people just want to sit at the beach. Beachfront was small, but walking distance. Needed car to go anywhere.

October 2014 - A130465 - NCL Breakaway Group Tour
We have been working on this for a while. We definitely had fun, and it was great as the Breakaway is almost identical to their sister ship, Getaway. We knew exactly what to recommend, where to eat, what to see, and our 1st group cruise really went well. We had a lot of happy customers in spite of the fact that we had a large last minute cancellation rate.

2013:

A DISNEY WORLD TRAVEL AGENT EDUCATION class in January 2013 for Linda. It's Augie's turn next.. (awesome experience. I cannot say enough positive things about it).
Last minute flights to Orlando were expensive, but truly worth the cost.

A 8-night trip to ATLANTIS at Paradise Island, Nassau in the summer. ATLANTIS is an amazing place to visit, except be prepared for expensive restaurants, and expensive excursions. Great for Honeymooners. Need to recommend the Honeymoon package, worth the value.

Visited RIU all-inclusive while we were there. Amazing place & a wonderful place to recommend to clients & honeymooners too.

A 7-day cruise to ALASKA on the Disney Wonder in August. Alaska is  beautiful, however, excursion costs are very expensive and flying in/out of Vancover is costly & time-consuming. Hotels in Vancouver were very expensive.  All-in-all, Alaska is amazing & a place where people should travel at least once in their lifetime.

2012:

January: We started 2012 off with a trip to Aulana in Oahu, Hawaii. We stayed 7-nights at the beautiful new Disney resort. It was absolutely beautiful.

May: We did an unexpected Disney repositioning cruise from LA to Vancouver, Canada. 7 nights, with stops at San Francisco, Victoria, Canada (gorgeous), and ending up in Vancouver, Canada. NICE, but very COLD & rainy.

Trip to Atlanta, Ga. Another unexpected trip to visit family & friends.  HUGS & KISSES TO EVERYONE!

A Disney Cruise on the NEW DISNEY FANTASY..
There were 7 of us, and we had a great time. Loved the new ship, but I think we prefer the smaller ones?? Who know, I wouldn't be opposed to trying the sister ship, The Dream sometime..

Then, after the cruise, we went to Walt Disney World for 5 days. That was a lot of fun with the kids! They haven't been there before, and they ALL LOVED IT! US TOO!!!

2011:
October 30:
We did a Disney cruise to the Mexican Riveria
during Halloween with our wonderful friends. What a great time. We watched movies, visited Cabo & Puerta Vallerta, swam with the dolphins, and spent the day on a Pirate ship! Tons of fun.

November 12:
Norwegian Cruise Line..
Wow! They are great also. Augie & I had the pleasure of going on the Norwegian Jewel last year.  I actually WON the trip by winning a tournament @ Harrahs.

We spent a few days before the cruise enjoying one of our favorite places, New Orleans, then we spent 7 days enjoying some wonderful ports in the western carribbean.

My favorite was Roatan, Honduras. We swan with the dolphins in their own
private beach. What a great adventure that was.
